Mobilize: Fight Bush's War on Women

NARAL Pro-Choice Washington's mobilization will turn pro-choice identifiers into supporters, members into activists, and flex the muscle of Washington state's largest pro-choice organization. From Vancouver to Bellingham, from Spokane to Gray's Harbor, our mobilization will ensure an active pro-choice organization. From Vancouver to Bellingham, from Spokane to Gray's Harbor, our mobilization will ensure an active pro-choice presence at the local level throughout Washington state.

The Plan:
By combining old-fashioned grassroots organizing with high-tech tools, this mobilization will occur where shoe-leather meets the mouse pad. NARAL Pro-Choice Washington will:

Initiate five new Choice Action Teams to take on reproductive rights issues in their own community. These activists will take the nationwide mobilization home with them, working locally to protect choice and activate the pro-choice community in their area.
Expand our network of pro-choice youth activists, working among their peers as part of Students for Choice on high school and college campuses.
Recruit 3,000 new members and 800 new activists to increase the reach and muscle of all NARAL Pro-Choice Washington's programs.
Add 8,000 new Email Activist Network email members, ready to react to anti-choice legislation and make their pro-choice voice heard to lawmakers with a click of the mouse.
