Take Action Now: Tell Senators Murray and Cantwell to keep the ban on abortion coverage out of the Senate health care bill!

The House passed their health care bill with the Stupak-Pitts amendment included.  The Stupak-Pitts amendment is a dangerous and unacceptable infringement on women's rights and health. It will create a ban on virtually all health insurance coverage for abortion care in the new health care system.

The result: millions of women who now have abortion coverage will lose it.

We must stop the abortion coverage ban in the Senate. Anti-choice senators are trying to add the language from the Stupak-Pitts amendment into the Senate health care bill.

Women’s health cannot be used as a bargaining chip: contact Senators Murray and Cantwell and urge them to keep the Stupak-Pitts language out of the Senate health care bill.
