Join NARAL Pro-Choice Washington's staff and interns in bringing our Pro-Choice Petition and Platform to the masses at the U-District Fair. Help us staff our table and proactively circulate our petition to the friendly fair-goers. Volunteer shifts are 3 hours long and go throughout the day. 2008 is an exciting year to bring choice to the forefront of the elections, so we'll be talking to voters and candidates about supporting: A patient's right to timely access to medications at the pharmacy counter, including a woman's right to access birth control without hassle or delay. The expectation that students will receive medically-accurate information in their schools. The fundamental right of women to access the full range of reproductive health care decisions including access to birth control, affordable family planning care, and safe, legal abortion.

Come chuckle for choice at the Comedy Underground in Seattle! Doors open at 7:45pm, be there by 8pm to get a good seat and avoid waiting in line. The show is at the Comedy Underground, 222 S Main St (under Swannies Sports Bar in Pioneer Square; map). Tickets are $10 in advance (stay tuned for this), 12 at the door. Half of the proceeds will support NARAL Pro-Choice Washington! |
