A New President for NARAL Pro-Choice America!
Choice Action Network (CAN)- We are thrilled to announce that Nancy Keenan, a former statewide elected official from Montana, will be the new NARAL Pro-Choice America President.
A dynamic leader with a deep commitment to a woman's right to choose and right to privacy, Nancy has 18 years of experience as a "red-state" public official, serving three terms each in the Montana state House and as State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Nancy showed her passion for women's freedom and the strength of her personal leadership when she stood up to a public effort to excommunicate her from the Catholic Church.
With Nancy Keenan at the helm - and with your continued day to day action and support - NARAL Pro-Choice America is ready to take on the pro-choice movement's most pressing tasks: fighting to protect the Supreme Court from new anti-choice nominees, promoting policies to make abortion less necessary through better access to birth control and honest sex education, and broadening the base of pro-choice activists by bringing a new generation and new constituencies more fully into the movement.
Please join us in welcoming Nancy, and we look forward to continuing to work with you and the entire NARAL family to build the strength of our powerful grassroots presence across the country!
Sincerely,
Kristin Koch NARAL Pro-Choice America
