SEATTLE POST INTELLIGENCER EDITORIAL BOARD We were thrilled when the Washington State Board of Pharmacy decided in April to change its policies of allowing pharmacists to deny patients medications based on their religious beliefs. The revised rules demand that pharmacists who object to filling a certain prescription can get a colleague to do so right then and there. Pharmacists must also order the objectionable drug if a patient asks for it.... To be clear, these pharmacists aren't balking at handing out Viagra. It's the morning-after pill, a form of emergency contraception (sometimes referred to as Plan B) that has them in a self-righteous snit...
