King County Prosecutor Candidates support Women's Right to Choose
Seattle, WA – All three candidates running for King County Prosecutor have been ranked 100% pro-choice by NARAL Pro-Choice Washington. They will protect women’s reproductive rights if elected. “We are pleased that all three gentlemen running for King County Prosecutor sought NARAL Pro-Choice Washington’s endorsement by filling out our candidate questionnaire and taking time to be interviewed," said Karen Cooper, Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Washington. “These men truly reflect the views of King County voters; that women’s reproductive health care, including the right to legal and safe abortion, should be protected.” Cooper said. “Because all three are 100% pro-choice, we will not be making a sole endorsement in the race. We will proudly list them on our website and literature as such and are glad to have excellent candidates from which to choose.” Bill Sherman and Keith Scully, both Democrats, will face each other on Washington’s August 21st primary ballot. The winner of that race moves on to run against Dan Satterburg, a Republican, in the November 6th General Election. ###
