Voters show that Washington is a pro-choice, pro-contraception state. SEATTLE – Across the state, voters are demonstrating a clear commitment to the right to choose. Nowhere has this been more apparent than in the enthusiastic response to NARAL Pro-Choice Washington’s Now You Know Dino campaign. Now You Know Dino combines online social networking, banner ads, and old-fashioned grassroots activism to spread the word across the state that Republican gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi not only opposes the right to choose, he is even against access to birth control. “We have had a huge response to Now You Know Dino,” said Karen Cooper, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Washington. “From our October 7 statewide day of action, to continuing anti-Dino demonstrations, to the visits to www.NowYouKnowDino.com, to our banner ads on newspaper websites, voters from Seattle to Spokane are active and engaged in our campaign.
